Italian Canadian Immigrant Tribute project

Overview:

MAVERICK was asked by Villa Charities to support its Ground Breaking event and to mark the beginning of construction on the Italian Canadian Immigrant Tribute project.

Tactics:

  • Develop a lead press release to Ontario media announcing the start of construction

  • Deploy multiple rounds of outreach to relevant media

  • Develop and send media advisories to major newsdesks in the Toronto and surrounding regions

Results:

Villa Charities was covered in major media outlets for a total reach of 18,948,200 which does not include any press release pickup. Most major Toronto television stations covered the announcement.
