Pure Storage

SITUATION

Pure Storage is a flash storage company that develops infrastructure solutions, allowing enterprises to get the most out of their data. A publicly traded US-based company, Pure emphasizes simplicity in the ever-complex world of enterprise IT.

Despite becoming a well-known and successful brand in the U.S., they lacked brand recognition in Canada, and wanted to increase awareness in the Canadian channel.

STRATEGIC APPROACH

MAVERICK set out to position Pure in Canada as the leading voice on next-gen tech, focusing on AI, cloud and big data. This consisted of the promotion of success stories, detailing how customers have benefited from Pure solutions, as well as the promotion of product upgrades.

Most notable however, was MAVERICK’s securing of thought leadership pieces that position Pure as a leader for all things technology. Through the crafting of compelling stories that shifted the focus away from the technical levels of their business, MAVERICK sought to highlight their visionary and leader status in the IT space.
